How to Bypass College/Hostel Proxy Server and Unblock Downloading

 INFORMATION MUST BE FREE                                                

                                           In our hostel we use internet over lan connections. We have ipv4 but we are using it Behind proxy server. Which means whatever ip we use our external ip is same. Proxy server provides facilities like authentication, firewalls,download limit per file,etc to limit internet uses. All our requests passes via getway to proxyserver. 
                                                          Here are some methods that i have learned in recent months to unblock restrictions ! 
                                   ---------------------BASIC---------------------
1. Proxy server restrict specific type of files. Like .exe .mp4 .flv .tar.gz .mp3 ,etc . So the best way to download these files is by Fetching the download link and rename the final download extension to ".txt" . www.underget.com is the website which download file for you in seconds and redirect as narmal text file.
STEPS:     copy the download file url.
                  open the underget site.
                  paste the link
                  on next window rename it to .txt and download it.
                  once download complete rename it to original extension.

2.If your favorite site like youtube or any ".,...,..,.."is not opening from hostel lan, then it may be blocked by proxy server. Website name is actually registered ip. which can be easily block.So we are redirecting to desire website through other site. These websites randomize the desire websites url and ip Hence proxy server spoofed to new link !
STEPS:     open 12345proxy.net
                  type your website url.
                  It's done.

3.Proxy server can limit Download size per file. Different downloaders like IDM, Orbit,Flareget works on principle that they creates file segments of very small size. So we can unbloack size limition. Orbit is the best one.

4.To Download youtube videos.
STEPS:        search video on google.
                     copy the video url.
                    goto clipconverter.cc or dailymotion.com
                       paste and download it.



                                   ---------------------ADVANCED---------------------

If non of these method works.Then we need to move to advanced section.
Our proxy server is using new Endi.....n firewall. Welldone! it is able to stop Orbit downloader !
Basically to restrict downloads, proxy servers are using "Port Blocking Method".
So, they have restricted our downloads on port 3128. That is what we need to crack.
What about opening new port ? 
STEPS:     Download "Tor" browser.
                  Goto settings -> windows updates-> select "never update"
                  because it delete Tor from system.
                  configure tor for first time.

                1.On first window Enter user authentication normally, and port as 3128.
                2.Next Click on yes,proxy server goes throug firewall
                3.On next window Enter allowed ports as 80,443 (use comma to separate 80 and 443)
                4.Allow bridge connection.
                5.Click on next. it will establish connection to tor server.
                6.First time it may take long time.
                7.Tor browser will open and looks like mozilla.

Now the main part is Background Process done by Tor.

                 Tor browser opens port number 9150. It will creates 2-3 "Virtual Proxy Server" in between our proxy server and system. So now our system is new proxy server for itself. And the proxy address is "localhost". and allowed port is 9150. 


DOWNLOADING:

  1.Open orbit downloader -> Network settings->Proxy->
  2.proxy server : localhost
              port   : 9150

3.Authentication : Enter username and password

Now you will see that Orbit will work normally. Happy Downloading. :-)
